PCX-100 and PCX-340 systems now available
Following an extensive software and hardware design and development program, XRT is very pleased to announce the availability of the PCX series of X-ray phase-contrast imaging systems.
Phase-contrast has become well recognised as being strong where absorption contrast is weak, this enables the imaging of low density materials, on their own or with included secondary components, cracks, pores and bubbles. Phase-contrast also allows the use of higher X-ray energies where the effectiveness of absorption contrast fall off rapidly.
PCX-100 has a 100mm x 100mm sample capability, PCX-340 can accommodate samples up to 340mm long and 180mm high. Both systems are available with a choice of detectors to provide different field of view and different detector resolution; both systems come with a choice of X-ray source offering 5 micron and 1 micron resolution.
PCX is fully capable of high resolution large array MicroCT (Tomography) and may be configured precisely according to application and user requirements.
